Turbo Pickers (2014)
Car expert Paul Cowland and star mechanic Dave Southall turn supposedly knackered, over-rusted vehicles and unwanted machine parts into tidy little earners. Paul and Dave are Turbo Pickers - hunters of rare and collectible cars, auto parts, and a bizarre range of unusual machinery to be flipped for a profit. The business partners scour the UK for items they can bring back to their London-based workshop for their unique style of refurbishment.

Using only building materials that other people have thrown out, all that needs paying for is labour. All the while Tommy keeps a watchful eye on the project making sure that quality isn't compromised just because the materials are free.

A Brit named Mark is building a backyard shed in which to assemble a kit car but there’s no clue as to what the car might be or what role the various talking heads (including a car magazine editor) are going to play in proceedings. Eventually, we discover Mark is buying an AGM WLR, which looks like a toy version of one of the LMP-class cars that fly around at LeMans. As one of the experts explains, this isn’t the ideal choice given that it’s one of the heavier kits and Mark is planning to put a motorcycle engine in it.
