After the death of Alexey Gradov, the owner of a large construction holding company, his heirs enter into a struggle for a billion-dollar fortune with a former official and business partner of the deceased. On the family side, the war is led by Gradov Sr., the patriarch of the family, who founded the family business in the 90s, but retired. As an ally, he takes the financier and strategist of the company Nadezhda, who was not only a colleague, but also his son's mistress. Rita, a social worker, is conducting an experiment: she organizes an extreme campaign in which she plans to re-educate young offenders. The hike is unexpectedly interrupted by the news of a murder in the group. The teenagers, not believing in a fair trial, decide to run higher into the mountains, taking Rita hostage. Rita's husband goes in search of them, unaware that he has to learn something unexpected about the woman he loves and his marriage.

Seaside adventurer Artyom, who came from the Mineral Waters of Maga, an aspiring blogger from Kazan, Naila, and an intelligent Kaliningrad woman, Varya, accidentally become owners of a rather large amount of money, which literally falls on them from the wall of a legendary high-rise in the center of Moscow. But, as it turns out later, these "easy" money must be earned according to the laws of the capital.
