Moscow, year 1982. Scientist Matvey Pyotrovsky creates a time machine and conducts a scientific experiment, which divides the apartment in two parts. It's first part is left in the 80-s with the professor, while the second one is transported to year 2020 to a modern family: businessman Sergey, his wife Svetlana and daughter Kristina. This kind of coliving creates a lot of trouble for everybody, since layering of two times means each of the families has lost access to the other part of the apartment. But problems don't end there: inventor's grandson Pavel, after waiting for 38 years, tries to prevent one tragic incident.

Three boxers from Chelyabinsk decide to earn extra money at the Moscow tournament on fights without rules before flying to the World Championship. After learning about the violation of the sports regime, the head coach excludes them from the national team. The guys are eating sadly in a restaurant, discussing the inglorious homecoming. In the same institution, a business dinner of a well-known Moscow lawyer is held, with the protection of which, through no fault of the guys, a conflict ensues. Boxers demonstrate their skills and naturally end up in the police. They face imprisonment. However, the lawyer offers a deal: become his bodyguards or go to jail. The brave trio decides to change their tracksuits to classic ones.

A lecturer at a provincial institute, PhD in Economics, is desperately trying to put his theoretical knowledge into practice. However, "reliable" business schemes constantly fail, and it does not work to change worn-out trousers from the GDR to brand-new jeans from America. And then there's the son, caught stealing at school, forcing him to go to extreme measures and seek help from bandits. As a result, the main character finds himself embroiled in a murky scheme with dangerous creditors and obscene goods that he will have to sell just to stay alive. After all, now he is the owner of the first sex shop in his hometown, and he urgently needs to make sure that such outlandish products for the local population as "Aladdin's Cave" and "Banana Bully" are properly sold so that his son does not end up in a juvenile colony, and his wife is a "model" at the men's club.

The story is about a father who, after learning about his wife's infidelity, decides to take his twelve-year-old son and raise him on his own. In order to increase his chances of leaving a child in a divorce, he embarks on the path of becoming a demonstrative father – he joins the parent committee of the class. There he meets his former classmate, Sveta Surkova, who has changed a lot in twenty years. She turned from a gray nerd into a purposeful and self-confident woman who harshly directs moms from the parent committee, and even the school principal is afraid of her. Only one thing remained unchanged – her dislike for Shmelev, who did not give her a quiet life as a child. To stay on the parent committee, he must find a common language with Surkova and the rest of the moms.
