Sung Chung Kei (Bobby Au-yeung) and his mentee Kwong Kong Sang (Moses Chan) are two major investment bankers. However, Kong Sang uses unscrupulous methods which caused tension between them. During a plane crash, Chung Kei accidentally switches his soul with Bau Pau (James Ng) using a face-off card and is forced to live with his aunt, Bau Mei Na (Maggie Shiu). This story about assassins takes place in a fanciful world. Yim Mo, who used to have a prestigious nickname “Yama”, has caused his family to break up with fatal consequences due to his blunder. He ends up as a mediocre killer. He has facilitated the emergence of a formidable hitman called Kiu Sing, aka “Zero”. However, the duo’s destinies are rewritten because of a Taiwanese tycoon called Or Ching-hung. Yim Mo counts himself lucky as his buddy Yiu Suk-han, who is a hooker by profession, manages to bridge the communication gap between him and his daughter Yim So-chi. Unfortunately, Yim Mo’s life has become very difficult as an eccentric female assassin called Yik Lan keeps clinging to him. Kiu Sing opens a cafe as a decoy and hires a single mother called Chin Heung-sin. He also has a crush on Lam Sum-sum, who is a temple keeper with a mysterious background. Yim Mo and Kiu Sing are forced to engage each other in a duel as Assassin Hunter shows up.

In 2010, Cheuk Hoi (Michael Miu) secretly travels to Bangkok to conduct a drug operation with his undercover agents in Thailand. As they finish their mission and are about to leave Thailand, an explosion causes all of Cheuk Hoi's undercover agents to die in a sea of fire. At the same time, Cheuk Hoi's good friend, CIB Inspector Lai (Eddie Cheung), is killed for unknown reasons, leaving Cheuk Hoi in charge of a female cop who is not yet officially an undercover. Cheuk Hoi knows that Lai Sir still has undercover agents whose identities have been deleted. To learn the truth about Lai Sir's death, Cheuk Hoi must find all of the undercovers. He and Cheng Suk Mooi (Priscilla Wong) begin to search for the undercover agents.
