Li Ziyong Thomas was born in poverty. When he was young, he worked hard to earn his mother's medical expenses. At 17, Tomato was forced to enroll in Ying Ching Secondary School after her parents divorced, where she met Siu-ching and they join a theater group. However, the SARS outbreak prevented them from performing their play. Seventeen years later, Tomato returns to Hong Kong due to her father's illness. She reconnects with Siu-ching, and they get a chance to revive their 2003 play, allowing them to finally realize their long-held dream.
