Bailey accompanies a general to the unveiling of a monument. The general, named Kelvin, goes back to dedicate a war monument that Bailey believes is best left forgotten. However, it appears that General Kelvin has unresolved matters to deal with. The ceremony faces jeopardy as the general is charged with taking treasure from the villagers many years ago.

One night, he spots what he initially thinks is a ghost but turns out to be an Indian girl in a sari. Later, he encounters her in the city and decides to chase after her to uncover her motives.
