S1E1 - Over the Fence
Petter Nyquist leaves his partner and daughter of 2 years in order to stay on the street in Oslo for 52 days. He quickly becomes familiar with Svein and gets home at the hospice for his drinking red wine. Petter will be plunged into her new life homeless faster than he had hoped.

Petter is struggling to adapt to his new life as a homeless person, but Svein leads him and teaches him up in the street life. Their friendship evolves and things seem to go much better for Petter when he hit Steffen giving him a very frightening experience.

Petter has settled in as a homeless, but the fear of violence keeps him awake at night. He's looking for a safe place to sleep and find it eventually in an unexpected place. Meanwhile the friendship with Svein begins to sour and reaches a climax after a project they have in the woods.

Without Svein Petter must find new friends on the street. Henry lives in a shed at Ekeberg whilst providing for his family in Sweden. Kjell Gunnar lives in parking garages and must work hard to finance his heroin consumption. Along with Kjell Gunnar Petter spends a different kind Saturday night in the parking garage on Vulkan.

Petter goes home to Julian who believe in a better future in a garage in Hasle above a future life with his family in Romania. Ida needs money to get home to her mother on Christmas Eve, whilst Svein is arguing with his neighbor. On the night of Christmas Eve Petter's greatest fear happens, but there will be Christmas in the cave anyway.

Petters time on the streets is nearing its end, but first he spends a day with Caraman, the leader of the largest group of Roma people in Norway, who lives in a shed at Nordstrand. He celebrates New Year's Eve together with Jonna and Christer heading out on their adventure of a lifetime. But parting with Svein offers unexpected challenges.
