S1E11 - El asedio de Caravaca
In the mid-13th century, a Muslim army besieges the Castle of Caravaca, defended by the Knights Templar. Four knights manage to slip through the enemy lines with the mission of obtaining water for the besieged, but one of them, Guillermo, has a secret order to escape with the Holy Relic and keep it safe. At the crossroads between his duty to the Order and his loyalty to his brothers, Guillermo will be forced to choose: fulfill his hidden mandate and abandon his companions, or return with them to defend the castle until the end.

In early 17th-century Cartagena, the Moorish and Jewish-convert communities survive under the yoke of discriminatory laws imposed by the Old Christians. El Gali, a young and wealthy Morisco, is banished as a result of the machinations of Don Rodrigo, a Christian knight who desires Mounira, his beautiful lover. El Gali ends up taking refuge in Algiers, where he meets Murat Reis, a Barbary corsair feared on the Spanish Mediterranean coast. Together, they plot a raid on Cartagena, determined to eliminate Don Rodrigo and rescue Mounira, who has been confined to a monastery by order of the Christian knight.
