Obie and Bingie are a crocodile and a bird. They have fun, educational adventures in the world of nature. Bingie is a musician and Obie is an artist. Whatever Obie draws with his magic pencil comes to life, taking the two friends on fantastic journeys where they meet other animals.

S1E1 - THE MYSTERIOUS ISLAND

Obie and Bingie leave for Africa in search of the Mysterious Island. Their raft bumps up against an island where Obie's chocolate cake falls into the water and quickly disappears. Who gobbled it up? Perhaps this island is not what it seems... and Obie and Bingie find a new friend who spends most of his days just floating around.

S1E2 - BUTTERFLY SURPRISE

A greedy caterpillar has munched the leaves from a mulberry tree, provoking protest from the animals that live in its branches. Obie and Bingie get busy trying to catch the culprit. But it's no caterpillar that emerges from its chrysalis, but a beautiful butterfly.

S1E3 - A MESS OF PEARS

All the pears bought to make a cake are full of worms. Obie and Bingie take off to an orchard in search of a "pearologist" who will know how to protect their pears from worms and insects. They meet a trio of woodpeckers, protectors of fruit trees.

S1E4 - THAT SNEAKY CROW

Out in the country to gather apples, Obie and Bingie meet up with an arrogant crow, who is ill-mannered and pushy, and who won't leave them alone for a minute. They decide to get rid of him with a trick. But it's not easy, because crows themselves are very crafty.

S1E5 - I WANT MY MOMMY!

A talking egg seeks a mommy to keep him warm until he hatches. But he doesn't know how to recognize one. How could he -- he's not out of the shell yet. Obie and Bingie take on the quest. On a farm, the two friends learn that animals that give milk do not produce eggs.

S1E6 - PORCUPINE NEEDS LOVE

Obie and Bingie meet a porcupine suffering from lack of affection. With all those quills, nobody ever gives him a hug. Furthermore, he is lost and far from home. Obie and Bingie help him find his family. But then they get lost too. Fortunately, the porcupine's daddy helps them get back home, but by a most unusual means.

S1E7 - SCARY MASKS

Obie and Bingie's house is invaded by mice that have scampered out of one of Obie's drawings. Falling into the drawing, Obie and Bingie end up near a barn, at night, and are frightened by an owl. This meeting with the nocturnal predator, famous catcher of mice, gives the two friends a bright idea for getting rid of their little pests.

S1E8 - BATS IN THE BELFRY

Obie and Bingie cut shadow puppets from paper. The shadow of a bat comes to life and steals their scissors. Obie and Bingie pursue it onto the rooftops, ending up in a bell tower and crashing into a big bell. The clanging wakes the neighbours, who complain and tell them to go home. First, though, they get their scissors back and learn how a bat is able to find its way in the dark.

S1E9 - TREASURE ISLAND

What treasure is hidden on the tropical island where Obie and Bingie find themselves? It must be the mysterious object an old turtle has hidden in the warm sands... from which a minuscule baby turtle emerges.

S1E10 - A STROLL ON THE ROOFTOPS

A cat wails loudly on the roof, annoying all the neighbours. Obie and Bingie go looking for it to give it what-for, and discover that it's wailing to "telephone" its lady love living on a distant rooftop. Obie and Bingie invite the cat to use their telephone. But the idea just makes things worse.

S1E11 - A BLUE-RIBBON PHOTO

The newspaper is offering a prize to whomever captures a photo of the most wily animal. Obie and Bingie decide it must be the fox and set out to find one. But they discover that the fox has a thousand tricks to avoid pursuers.

A squirrel steals one of Obie and Bingie's pool balls. While chasing him, our heroes get caught in the middle of a fight between the squirrel and his neighbour, the blue jay. Can Obie and Bingie find a way to end the argument?

Who's cutting down the trees that Obie draws? Some invisible and mysterious woodsman, who is using the trunks to build himself a house on the river. Obie and Bingie learn that the beaver, before his gnawed tree finally falls, gives out a warning to the other animals of the forest.

Obie and Bingie accidentally step on the tail of a peacock. The proud bird is desperate -- now no female peacock will bother to look at him. Obie's magic pencil will solve the problem, designing a new tail in the blink of an eye.

On a trip to learn about totem poles, Obie and Bingie fall from a boat and are plagued by a playful otter. They discover the otters' love for clams and their ability to use a rock as a "can opener".

Obie and Bingie come to the aid of a couple of down-and-out dancing snakes who are starving because no one will organize a show for them. Obie and Bingie intervene, putting on a show in the jungle. It's a success and the snakes finally can eat, grow and shed their raggedy old skins.

S1E25 - TOO FLASHY FOR A ZEBRA

Obie's paints accidentally splash on the coat of a zebra, ruining his camouflage. After several misguided attempts, Obie and Bingie finally get him cleaned up and restore those stripes that help hide him from the lion's view.

S1E26 - POLLUTION AT THE POLE

Obie and Bingie end up at the North Pole stranded on an ice floe. A lot of their stuff falls into the frigid waters, polluting the sea and making one polar bear very mad. With the help of the bear, the pair manage to clean up the waters and return home.

S1E27 - BIRTHDAY IN THE WOODS

It's Mrs Blue Jay’s birthday and Obie & Bingie go to the woods to bring her a cake, but a hungry owl follows them. They build a xylophone out of acorns, nuts, and twigs, and play "happy birthday to you". The owl dives on the jays. Obie and Bingie save the day by throwing the cake in the owl's face. Back home, Obie is tired and would like to rest, but Bingie wants to practice with his new xylophone. Sleeping is impossible!

S1E28 - THE MASKED BANDIT

A young, chubby raccoon named Rachel is raiding Obie and Bingie's food cupboards. Rachel is soon eating them out of house and home. Having found such easy access to food, she has become lazy and has no desire to fend for herself in the wild. To find out where the Raccoon belongs, Obie and Bingie venture into a deep forest, and -with the help of a grandfather raccoon -find the raccoon’s real habitat. Back at home, they set a trail of delicious foods from her natural habitat that lead her back to her real den.

S1E29 - MUSHROOM SOUP

Obie and Bingie venture in the woods to pick up mushrooms. Bingie fancies himself an expert in mushroom picking. All tired out, they take a nap under an oak tree where two jays are building their new nest. The jays tell them that all of the mushrooms they've collected are poisonous. Obie and Bingie are very disappointed, but soon behind a bush they find a huge mushroom - which is edible and big enough to make mushroom soup for everybody in the forest!

S1E30 - COCK-A-DOODLE-DON'T

Romeo the rooster is waking up the farm early every morning. Too early, in fact-- he crows at 4 am because, like all roosters, he can see the sunrise before we can. The farm animals ask for Obie and Bingie's help. The two friends will solve the problem with ingenuity and.. a pair of sunglasses.

S1E31 - SHEEP IN MY SLEEP

Bingie can't fall asleep. Obie suggests he count sheep, until one sheep is heard baaing under his bed. It's a lamb, who's run away from the farm because he was afraid to be sheared. Obie and Bingie have to persuade him to go back to the farm, explaining the many good things that can be made out of wool.

S1E32 - A PERFECT PICTURE

Albert the deer has a problem: two possums lost their tree home to a storm and chose his antlers as their new “hang-out”. But the deer's antlers will soon fall off. Obie and Bingie, with the help of their new camera, help the possums find a new home, taking a load off Albert's head.
