S1E1 - Episode 1
LAI is an optimistic woman in her early thirties. Her capability makes her successful in career and keeps all the household works in good order. Her younger sister, LING, does not agree to the traditional concept in marriage. Since her parents have a bias to her lover, TAK, so secretly, LING and TAK live together.
ANN is the assistant of LAI. She has a very close boyfriend, CHUNG, who has been studying abroad for many years. On ANN's birthday, her mother holds a party for her. ANN invites LAI and LING to join them. Seeing that LAI and LING have their happy lives with husband and lover, she suddenly falls into great depression during the party. At that moment, a long distance call from CHUNG makes her forget all the unhappiness.

S1E2 - Episode 2
LAI feels sick and is sent to the hospital. After a series of checking, she is suspected of being suffered from tumour. She doesn't want her household worrying for her and also she cannot put her job aside, she keeps on her routine busy life. Her tumour gets worse then.
Meanwhile, ANN's colleague, BOB, tries to court her. Seeing that BOB is not the down-to-earth person, ANN refuses him. CHUNG returns to Hong Kong suddenly and ANN blames him for not noticing her first. Their misunderstanding leads them to the edge of breaking up. Hoping that her parents may change their impression on TAK, LING arranges TAK and her parents to have a morning walk, but they end up in quarrels.
