S1E1 - Building a Movement
In the 2018 midterm elections, a new generation of women of color are ready to take the lead. As candidates and organizers embark on the campaign trail, we go behind-the-scenes at local rallies, in war rooms, and in church basements to witness the unique challenges they face. These women are each a product of a larger movement–one that is coalition-based, intergenerational, and interfaith.

S1E2 - Claiming Power
In the weeks leading up to election day, organizers combat voter suppression in their own communities. A growing multi-ethnic coalition in Georgia, including groups like the New Georgia Project, Mijente, and Asians for Abrams, addresses language barriers, poll purges and “exact match” laws that impact thousands of voters across the state. As results roll in, there are celebrations and disappointments, and then the work continues.
