Since childhood, Alvin grew up with so many unanswered questions, especially regarding his parents' divorce when he was still young. His late father became a taboo topic in front of Marisa, his mother. A week before his own wedding, Alvin found an old photo of his father with the background of the Jiwa Manis restaurant. Alvin felt drawn into the buried memories of his childhood. He vaguely remembered how his late father used to take him to eat at traditional, simple, and authentic places. Alvin started his journey towards his wedding in Solo with a new obsession: to find eateries like the ones he and his father used to visit. A culinary journey full of colors and flavors in various cities led Alvin on a winding path. Could all of this answer the questions that have haunted him for so long?
