When the story begins, Johnnie comes to the lawyer's house (James Finlayson) in order to woo the man's daughter. However, a love-crazy woman has been chasing Johnnie and the lawyer tries to help out....and gets nothing but trouble in return. The lady now wants the lawyer...who's a married man.
