Katnip is making life miserable for Herman's little mice cousin, so he takes them to a tropical paradise island where there are no cats, and the little 'meece' are very happy...until Katnip makes an entrance. Thanks to Herman, Katnip's exit is about as rapid as his entrance. Peace returns to Paradise Isle.

In the deserted ice-cream parlor, the thirsty mice are never able to drink their concoctions because Katnip the Kat keeps them running for their little mice-lives. But Herman, the brother mouse, arrives with his bag of tricks. Herman tricks Katnip into swallowing a bottle of sleeping pills and, while Katnip snores, the mice enjoy their sodas.

Katnip is also on board and chases the mice from the baggage compartment to the mail car. Herman utilizes very mechanical device available to derail Katnip, and finally uses some war-surplus equipment to shoot Katnip out in space. He lands at the North Pole and is freezing while the mice are living it up on a Miami beach.

The city-slicker mouse, Herman, takes his bumpkin country cousins for a night on the town at a penny arcade. Katnip the cat, Herman's long-time nemesis, is present and spoiling the party so Herman floats him away with some hydrogen-filled balloons. But the pesky Katnip returns and after some furious cat-and-mouse games, utilizing all the slot machines and games in the arcade, Katnip ends up as the loser, ending up as the target in the shooting gallery.

No money there... only Robin Hood Herman. Herman follows Katnip back to the castle and recovers the money for the mice after a battle. Katnip gets sliced clean down the middle with a fancy medieval executioner's axe!

Scenes are used from "A Bicep Built For Two," "Cat-Choo," "Mousetro Herman" and "Drinks On The Mouse." Katnip has a chance to recall all the big events of his past. At first, it's a thrill. Then there's smoldering anger as he sees Butch take his true love from him and Herman give him a hard time as well.

A sleep-walking baby owl finds its way in Herman's house, and the friendly mouse makes friends with it. But the owl arouses Katnip, who takes out after it, but Herman always manages to rescue the little owl. The owl finally makes a nest for its self out of Katnip's fur which Herman has stripped off.

Katnip is out in the cold, cold snow; but he thinks maybe he won't go hungry this Christmas. He sees a warm house with a warm fire, and a lot of warm mice about to have a nice, hot turkey dinner. Katnip scams his way into the house by disguising himself as Santa Claus. And then he chases the mice into their hole by throwing Christmas ornaments at them. Cousin Herman arrives and is tantalized by the tempting aroma of the turkey. The sad mice show Herman why they're all shivering in their freezing hole. There's Katnip at the fireplace hanging up an enormous stocking next to a very long Christmas list. But wily Herman is not about to let a mangy cat dampen everyone's holiday spirits.

While cats and dogs are natural enemies, such is not the case in the house where Herman the mouse lives. They are very good friends indeed, are work together to make Herman's life a hard life. Herman tries to break up their friendship, and divert their attention from guarding the cheese in the refrigerator, and almost succeeds but they make up in time to prevent Herman getting the cheese. They give chase and Herman takes refuge in a jug of wine.
