Three young women at a hair salon all like the son of the clothing store proprietors across the mall. Although Robby is selfish and shallow, he's appealing to Lili, the salon's manager, who's trendy and also the salon-owner's moll; to Mado, who's innocent and sweet; and to Pascale, who's intelligent but passive and downcast. Robby's dad tells him to grow up and see beyond the mercurial Lili, so he proposes suddenly to Mado. She's delighted, but the day before the wedding, Lili returns to give Robby another look. In the background, a Yank who was a soldier in France in World War II returns to Paris and tries to recapture the love of his wartime sweetheart, Robby's mom.

Amanda and Julian are doing their best to rear their five sons during the repressive dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos. Though the parents view themselves as apolitical, most of their sons bristle at life under martial law and turn to various forms of activism -- or to simple teenage rebellion -- for release. After the family becomes the victim of extremist violence, Amanda begins to find her own dissident voice.

It's the year 1980-Something! Four teenagers, (Chad Quarterback, Cherry Pop, Eddie Stone, and Mary Abstine) are celebrating one last camping trip together before they all go their separate ways to different colleges. The only catch being they decide to camp in the supposedly cursed forest known as "Hades' Woods". Once they're all settled at their campsite, they decide to chant an ancient spell to summon the almighty demon lord, the slayer of saints, Hellfire Hades! (Y'know, as all teenagers do!) To them, it's nothing more than an urban legend. But little do they know that Hellfire Hades is very real and will stop at nothing until all those that have disturbed his presence are completely and utterly destroyed. Can they survive?
