The Baja Bug Movie Starting in 2018, Michael Squier began the search for a documentary on Baja Bugs, after bringing a very special one back to life. Over the next couple years, he searched deeper and deeper, finding nothing but rumors of failed projects. Of course, Michael had seen the films by Bruce and Dana Brown, but they just weren’t what he was looking for. He wanted something different as he didn’t care about motorcycles, unlimited Buggies, or trophy trucks. He just wanted VWs!
