This Traveltalk series short takes viewers on a tour of old New Mexico. Starting in Santa Fe, the oldest state capitol in the USA, the city existed long before European migration. It's unique architecture is its most prominent feature. There are several archaeological sites trying to date when Indians first settled in the area. Seven percent of the population are of Indian origin. Near Taos is the onetime home of Kit Carson whose grave is one of the sacred shrines of New Mexico. The Navajo live on their 14 million acre reservation and continue their traditional way of life.

Kitsos lives a quiet life in Gastouni, grabbing his sheep. But the pressure of his father and his beloved Asteros forces him to become a merchant by turning to nearby villages without success. Desperate father sends him to Athens where everything is so different from the village. Kitsos goes to the house of the uncle, Pericles. There he discovers that Ritsa, Pericles's daughter, has relation with an employee, Vassilakis. Pericles wants to marry Ritsa with Parmenion, but Kitsos decides to help the lovers.

The Man from Bitter Ridge is a film directed by Jack Arnold. Jeff Carr, a special investigator, arrives in Tomahawk. His assignment is to discover who has been holding up the local stagecoach and is guilty for a series of killings that terrorize the town. Sheepman Alec Black is suspected by the local population but it is not long before Jeff realizes the man is innocent. Alec even becomes a good friend although he is in love with the same woman as him, Holly. Jeff will manage to arrest the real culprits but not before the latter try to compromise him down.
