Finding a Way: The Story of the Blind Surfer (2021)
This short documentary explores the life of Pete Gustin, a world-renowned voiceover artist and "Blind Surfer". The documentary follows the life of Gustin from childhood to present, and documents his challenges with Stargadt's Disease, a form of Macular Degeneration, which has robbed him of nearly all of his eyesight. Despite his disability, he has become one of the most prominent voices in the voiceover industry, learned to surf, and started a successful Youtube channel which has reached over 10,000 subscribers. The documentary is both a documentation and celebration of the challenges that Gustin has faced and overcome and serves as an example of how those who face challenges can overcome them through determination and hard work.
