A wizard invents characters who all come to life and start to arrive at his house: a King, his servants, a princes, a bear trapped in a man's body - the usual lot. The Plot mainly rotates around the bear, who the wizard had turned into a man. The Bear, who wishes to be a bear once again, can turn into his old self if he were to kiss a princess. It gets complicated when he falls in love with that princess, that arrived at the wizard's house. For how can they be together, if a single kiss will destroy their love?

One day, King Yeremei decides to go on a long hike in order to consider all his areas and compile their register. A well appears on his way home, but as soon as the sovereign bent over him, he was seized by the underwater king Chudo-Yudo and demanded an unusual ransom for his release — that which is in the state of Yeremei, but which he does not know about. Sergeant Snorkle is bothered by the lack of beauty at Camp Swampy, so he sends away for a Japanese leechee tree. While the tree is being planted, Sergeant Snorkle heads for a little R&R. Private Zero destroys the tree. Fearful of what their Sergeant might do to them for wrecking his tree, Beetle, Lieutenant Cosmo and Zero buy another Japanese Leechee tree from a local Japanese restaurant and plant that. The scheme falls apart when our heroes set their jeep in reverse and wreck the new tree.

The pair get themselves into trouble even in the civilian world; they soon find themselves permanently confined to Camp Swampy on K.P.

Loweezy helps the actress research the role, even to Beulah's dressing exactly like Loweezy. But confusion ensues when Snuffy sees Beulah outside the theater and mistakes her for Loweezy.

Barney Google trying to make a big singing star out of Snuffy. Snuffy sings as his machine would chop wood. Barney Google tried to get a recording contract for Snuffy and the machine (hopefuly a gimmick), but the machine turned out uncontrollable.

Feeling that his platoon hates him, Sergeant Snorkle seeks the advice of Camp Swampy Chaplain. The Chaplain advises the sergeant to be nice to his men and take an interest in their work and their hobbies. In order to be more of a friend to his platoon, Snorkle helps the men work on their foxholes. But Beetle, Lieutenant Cosmo, Private Killer, Private Zero, Private Rocky and Private Plato believe that their Sergeant has gone nuts and attack him to bring him back to his senses. Even his bulldog, Otto, leaves the Sarge for a French poodle.
