Χαβάη (1995)
At a male brothel named "Hawaii," two trans sex workers—one younger and full of hope, the other older and disillusioned—share a tender, late-night conversation about love and the search for meaning in a world that barely acknowledges their existence. As tensions rise over the impending release of their shared pimp from prison, their fragile bond is tested. The younger believes he’ll finally be saved by love, dreaming of marriage and a better life. But the older warns him of the brutal truth: they are nothing more than commodities in a cruel system. When the pimp announces his engagement to the daughter of a rival crime boss, the younger sex worker is pushed to the edge. What follows is an unexpected act of violence that shatters their connection—and ends in a grotesque act of betrayal that turns his body into a macabre feast at the wedding dinner.

This is I (2026)
Inspired by the real-life experiences of Haruna Ai, the story follows a Japanese entertainer whose confident public image conceals a long and painful struggle with gender identity. From early feelings of dysphoria and social alienation to the weight of family expectations and public scrutiny, it traces the emotional cost of living a divided life. As isolation deepens, an empathetic doctor becomes an essential ally, offering both medical guidance and human understanding on the path toward gender-affirming surgery. Through moments of vulnerability, resistance, and quiet strength, the narrative presents identity as an ongoing process rather than a single transformation, emphasizing the courage required to live authentically in a society slow to accept difference.

Now she must confront the silence surrounding sexual violence between women and the terrifying vulnerability of learning to trust again. The Space Between Touch is a quiet yet emotionally charged short film about the rarely discussed reality of sexual violence between women, and the courage it takes to reclaim trust after betrayal. When a tender night with her college girlfriend reopens the wound of an assault by her high school ex, Lauren is forced to navigate the shame, silence, and stigma that often surrounds queer partner abuse.
