The Czech production, directed by Jana Kališová and starring Eliška Balzerová in the lead role as well as all other roles, has already had more than 200 sold-out performances. The brilliant performance of Eliška Balzerová certainly plays a major role in the show's success, but so does the fact that My Wonderful Divorce is primarily a great comedy, but also deals with the serious and quite sad vicissitudes of life that are familiar to at least the female part of the population.
