For the Eyes of Mariana (1999)
We follow the efforts of Ester Gatti to find her missing granddaughter Mariana Zaffaroni. As a child, Mariana and her parents were kidnapped by a Uruguayan military team. The little girl was taken by an agent in the intelligence service who brought her up as his own daughter. Sixteen years later Ester found Mariana, but the girl chose to go on living with the people who had kidnapped her. This documentary raises questions about identity, memory and the value of truth.

Near the clouds (2006)
A small community of old people are living in a rural town, deep in the countryside in Uruguay, lost in a vast expanse of green grass. They do not have electricity or running water. They watch the time go by slowly and silently, but they do not complain or make excuses as they wait for the new day. That's just what life is like in Quebracho.

Keep Off the Flowers (2003)
At the time of the dictatorship in Uruguay, the University was one of the main centres of repression and a channel for the dissemination of state ideology. The institution's freedoms and rights that had been won through the process of autonomy and co-government were revoked. This documentary shows us university students during that period, their activist strategies, their struggles for participation, and the long road they travelled before finally playing an important role in the transition to democracy.
