Haşmet, who works as a civil servant in an office, lives a middle-class life with his family. A young man who works in the accounting department of the office proposes to Haşmet's daughter Nesrin. However, Nesrin has become pregnant after entering into a relationship with a wealthy man who promised to marry her. When the man disappears, Nesrin is forced to have an abortion. She goes to a woman named Necla for this purpose. During this time, Nesrin runs away from home on the day a suitor is supposed to visit. Taking refuge with Necla, Nesrin begins having relationships with men in exchange for money. Haşmet, unable to cope with the pain of losing his daughter, is struck by a second blow.

The film tells the story of musician Kenan's imprisonment as a result of a false accusation. Kenan lives with his sister Mine. He works as a musician in a bar. It tells the story of how Murat's life changed when he was caught committing a robbery. While searching for a way out of his poverty, Murat gets involved in Yusuf and Sabri's robbery plans. They promise not to betray each other if they get caught. Murat is caught at the last moment. He takes all the blame and is sentenced to twenty years in prison. Yusuf and Sabri break their promise and do not visit Murat in prison. Murat spends years waiting for the day he will be released. During this time, Yusuf and Sabri invest the money they earned and become wealthy. When Murat is released, he demands a share not only of the money from the robbery but of everything they own. When Yusuf and Sabri refuse, a bitter struggle ensues between them.

Suleyman works at a gas station. One of his customers Kenan, who is a businessman, asks him to be his bodyguard. Suleyman is in love with Oya. Kenan wants to prevent their marriage and makes a plot with his brothel girl Cicek. Cicek has an affair with Suleyman and Kenan takes their photos. As Oya sees the photos, she leaves her job. Kenan gets her to work for his relative Leman who is a tailor. Suleyman quits his work and searches for Oya though without success. Oya gets to know about Leman and Kenan's evil plans and she gets seized on her attempt to escape. Cicek informs Suleyman about Oya's whereabouts. Everybody gets organized to save her and they succeed. Cicek shoots Leman and Kenan at the expense of her own life.

Esin lives with her uncle. She has a cousin named Bahri, who cares only about money. Esin meets the pianist Yalcin at a night club and they feel attracted to each other. Yalcin gives her music lessons, and a profound love is blossoming. Esin's uncle objects to their relationship though the two lovers get engaged. Bahri gets jealous, putting soporific in her drink, he rapes Esin. Esin gets pregnant, she breaks up with Yalcin. Her uncle believes that the trouble maker is Yalcin, he urges him to marry her. They marry, but Yalcin doesn't know about her pregnancy. Bahri secretly puts drugs into Yalcin's pocket, he gets arrested, Esin has a miscarriage out of the shock. She tells Yalcin all the truth. Yalcin is released on bail. He reaches home when Bahri is about to rape Esin. Esin shoots Bahri, Yalcin takes it upon himself. As the judge gives him the death penalty, Esin reveals the truth. He is acquitted and happy days await them.
