Metal Blade Records, in association with Good Fight Entertainment, present Between the Buried and Me Coma Ecliptic: Live! The concert, which features the band performing Coma Ecliptic in its entirety, was filmed live on location October 4th, 2017 at The Observatory North Park in San Diego, CA. The show will be made available on CD, DVD, and Blu-ray, as well as digitally. Coma Ecliptic: Live was directed by Vince Edwards and edited by Blake Faucette and Justin Reich. There is only one King Diamond, and for more than thirty years the great Dane has been dropping classic albums and putting on shows fans remember for the rest of their lives. Perhaps the only downside to having such a formidable catalogue is that there are just too many great songs to fit into a single set. However, you would be hard-pressed to find a fan who wouldn’t want to hear 1987′s seminal Abigail in its entirety, and Songs For The Dead Live captures this, twice, and in very different locales. The performances of the all-star lineup of musicians, comprising of guitarists Andy LaRocque and Mike Wead, bassist Pontus Egberg and drummer Matt Thompson, are absolutely ferocious, hammering home every single moment.

Legendary progressive metal act Fates Warning celebrated the 30th anniversary of their third album, Awaken the Guardian, in 2016. The album was to become their final release to feature vocalist John Arch. That era's lineup was rounded out by bassist Joe DiBiase, drummer Steve Zimmerman, along with current guitarist Frank Aresti and, of course, Jim Matheos.
