Tied for Life (1933)
We first meet Harry on the morning of his wedding day. He looks like he's been partying, but we know he's a sweet guy because he sleeps with a photo of his bride. Friends serenade Harry outside, but when he goes to the window to join in they douse him with water. As he prepares for his wedding, he looks in the mirror and it shatters. When the groom attempts to run to the church the ring slips out of his hand and is run over by a passing car. As anyone who has seen Harry's 1924 comedy HIS MARRIAGE WOW can guess, the ring sticks to the tire, and Harry must climb on to the car to retrieve it.....

Rodeo Day (1935)
Frank Luther was a famous country music singer back in the 1930s. As a result of this success, he was able to make a few films. There isn't a ton of plot in this short and what plot there is seems to be an excuse for all sorts of musical performances.

Loose Relations (1933)
The stereotype in old movies and TV shows is that the man hates his mother-in-law. Well, in "Loose Relations" it doesn't follow this convention, as Andy Clyde is actually happy that his mother-in-law is coming to stay with them and he plans on fixing up a place for her to stay. In a funny scene, when he tells his neighbors, they offer his an axe and a gun!

The Stage Hand (1933)
The story is set in the village of Oskaloosa, which is in Iowa -- Langdon's home state. A silent movie-style opening title informs us that the town needs a new fire engine, so they decide to stage a play to raise the money. (Nothing more is heard about this, but the finale involves a fire emergency at the theater.) In the opening scene the community players rehearse at the home of the director, a pompous lady named Mrs. Winters. Harry, of course, is The Stage Hand.
