Col. Theodore Roosevelt and Officers of His Staff (1898)
This picture shows Col. Roosevelt, accompanied by Lieut. Greenway and other prominent officers of the Rough Riders, galloping up to his headquarters, where he dismounts and walks into his tent. This view was taken in the camp with the Rough Riders, and is an excellent picture of Col. Roosevelt in the environment he loves so well.

Ten Inch Disappearing Carriage Gun Loading and Firing, Sandy Hook (1897)
"This is one of the most remarkable views that has ever been taken, and shows a modern high-power gun in act of discharge. The immense gun, weighing 67,000 pounds, is seen to rise in the air, discharge its projectile, and sink back behind the fortification ready for reloading. Showing the loading, raising, firing and recoil of the big ten-inch coast defense gun at the Government proving grounds, Sandy Hook. A remarkably fine picture." —AMB Picture Catalogue

Atlantic City Fire Department (1897)
This picture is very notable from the fact that at the end of the scene, after the run-by of various engines and hose wagons, an engine was forced out of its course into the Biograph camera, smashing it to bits. The negative was saved out of the wreck and presents a remarkable photographic illusion, inasmuch as one who looks at it gets the effect at the end of the picture, of a fire engine at full tilt dashing directly toward him.

Across Brooklyn Bridge (1899)
This picture is very novel and interesting. It gives the complete trip from the station at the New York City end of the bridge to the station at the Brooklyn end, as seen from the front end of a third rail car running at high speed. The entire trip consumes three minutes of time, during which abundant opportunity is given to observe all the structural wonders of the bridge, and far distant river panorama below.

'Vizcaya' Under Full Headway (1898)
"A splendid picture of the pride of the Spanish navy, taken on the occasion of her visit to New York Harbor, when her captain hinted at his ability to blow holes through New York's sky-scrapers. In this picture the vessel makes a very beautiful appearance steaming out to sea under full headway. But what a contrast to a later Biograph picture [WRECK OF THE 'VIZCAYA'] when the vessel was a smoking hulk wrecked on the shore of Cuba, battered to pieces by the guns of the Oregon."

Dance, Franchonetti Sisters (1897)
Three young women with dark, curly hair stand on a stage with a black background and patterned carpet or tile underfoot. They wear tights, ballet shoes, and frilly dresses to the knee with multiple petticoats and ruffled drawers. They begin by raising their right legs up by their heads, and then perform a dance with a variety of kicks and leg movements, their hands either in the air or pulling up their skirts. The sisters also grab their right legs again and hop in a circle, then do cartwheels and land on the floor in the splits. Jumping back to their feet, the women twirl in circles and around each other in circles in what appears to be a type of pirouette, while holding up their skirts and showing their bloomers in a manner similar to the cancan.
