Ichika is a high school musician who can enter a mysterious place called “SEKAI,” where she and her friends express their innermost emotions through music alongside Hatsune Miku. One day after giving a live performance, Ichika meets a new Miku that she has never seen before. No matter how hard this new Miku tries to sing, she struggles connecting with the hearts of her listeners. Miku must rely on the help of others to find a way to sing again.

The event aims to bring together fans from around the world, and with the use of cutting-edge AR technology, the show itself - a brand-new concert experience never seen before - will be provided and streamed for free. Just like past HATSUNE MIKU EXPO concerts, sub-events, exhibitions, and workshops will also be held online. The event's main visual is illustrated by ryota, with the official theme song being entitled "Highlight", written, composed and arranged by KIRA, a VOCALOID producer from Germany.

Held at Zepp Sapporo, this concert was also accompanied by an exhibition from February 5 to February 12 as part of the 2018 Sapporo Snow Festival. Its common theme is “MATSURI (festival)”, and the cities that the tour visited each included a different seasonal nature of the theme - Osaka having a summer style and Tokyo having a winter style. The 2015 Magical Mirai concert, hosted at Tokyo’s prestigious Nippon Budokan, featured several never-before performed songs from Miku and the other Crypton VOCALOIDs. I'm HATSUNE MIKU- ' was Hatsune Miku's first overseas concert that took place at the NOKIA theatre in Los Angeles, and it will soon be available for all to enjoy on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray! Planned release is for Japan only. The performance was a part of ANIME EXPO 2011, where over 5000 fans were able to enjoy the event live! The concert itself was an improved version of last year's 'Miku's Day Festival -The 39's-' event, and featured guest appearances of Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len and Megurine Luca. A total of 24 songs including some with English lyrics were in the line-up for the concert, and all were performed by a live acoustic band - they were also all recorded so that everyone who was unable to get to the event will still have the chance to enjoy them!
