Moving, personal doc captures the filmmakers fifty-four year old immigrant Kosovo mother as she attempts to pass an all-important German language test. Painter and video artist Zeqiri frames a cold and unforgiving Austria through the window of his mother’s apartment as she struggles through the difficult words and phrases.

The story is about an old photographer from Goshica village, Kosovo. As a seventeen year old boy, after hard working as a roustabout he decided to buy a camera in order to return his lost memories for his father which he never knew. After 40 years’ experience with camera he became a chronologist of his country.

Dejan and Yllka are getting ready for the New Year’s Eve. They have the same games and the joy for the holiday. They live very close to each other. The year they are about to enter in will change their childish routine. They will enroll their first class at school, but the book of History will not be the same for them.
