Story of the formation of the Armed Forces, who found themselves in difficult conditions and had to choose between family, friends, acquaintances and the security of the country, the lives of millions and the chance for life of the state. They chose between fear, betrayal and insecurity and duty, glory and courage. They made their choice and thanks to this choice there is still such a state as Ukraine. And the exploits of these people must remain in the annals of history.

The protagonist of the film is a psychologist, who faces a difficult task: to return demobilized soldiers to a normal peaceful life and help them socialize. By healing their souls, he does much more than help each patient personally. It helps millions of civilians to accept into society those who consider themselves exiles. Through the prism of the protagonist, we show the life and difficulties faced by soldiers returning home from the front. We will experience all the victories and failures of the protagonist and his wards.

The main characters of the film are residents of Odesa who took part in hostilities in the anti-terrorist operation zone. Dmytro Olehovych, Yevhen Tytarenko, Roman Koldomasov, Yevhen Lata, Andriy Skorokhod, Viktor Pogodin, Dmytro Vasyliev. They are all very different, and everyone has their own reasons for going to the front. Everyone has their own "military history". Someone suffered severe moral and physical injuries. And someone even managed to find in the difficulties they had to go through, additional motivation for life and creativity. Someone is ready to return to the anti-terrorist operation zone and continue the struggle. And someone will never see their hometown again.
