After more than twenty years, Swiss musician Dino Brandão travels to Angola to give a concert in his father's home country. Confronted with his family's past and questions about his own identity, Dino is triggered into a manic episode.

Dennis and his filmmaker friend decide to join his parents in Tuscany where they are spending the summer holiday. Dennis is not in the best of moods. His past and his choices seem to loom over him, to haunt him even in the golden and warm sun of Tuscany. His friend tries to unlock his silences, unsuccessfully. Dennis seems to be hurting.
