The film tells the story of three poor friends whose lives change when they meet a blind girl. Osman, a taxi driver, Hüseyin, a shoe shiner, and Arif Amca, a street vendor selling lahmacun, are three poor friends who live together. One day, Osman hits a girl with his taxi. Sevim is a visually impaired girl who has been left alone and is trying to make a living by selling flowers. Osman takes Sevim to the dilapidated mansion where they live to help her. Here, the three friends introduce themselves as wealthy factory owners. Their sole purpose now is to make Sevim happy. They try to find the money needed for the surgery to restore Sevim's sight.

The film is about the life story of Fatma, a poor girl who lost her family in an accident, when she comes to Istanbul. Fatma comes to Istanbul from Tehran after the death of her family. His goal is to find his uncle here and inherit his father's inheritance from him. Although Fatma finds her uncle, she cannot inherit her father and is forced to work as a maid in this house. His uncle's son Ali and Fatma fall in love with each other and decide to get married. Ali's family sends him to their factory in Iran to prevent this marriage. He also kicks Fatma out of the house.

Selma lives a poor life with her sister Leyla and her alcoholic father. Leyla is the mistress of a rich man called Ziya. Selma gets a job as a secretary and her boss Suat turns out to be the man who Leyla has had a short affair with. Selma and Suat fall in love and decide to get married, but Suat's family doesn't accept her as their bride. Leyla is pregnant, she delivers a baby and returns to her lover Ziya leaving Selma the baby. Selma's father tells Suat that baby is his. Selma also tries to explain the situation but Suat doesn't believe her. Selma gets sick and is hospitalized. Leyla reveals the truth to Suat. The sad days are over for the loving couple..

Sevgi is a singer who works in a bar. Her boss Vural fancies her. Sevgi meets Selim and they fall in love. Selim is unaware of her job at the bar. Vural sends his men to Selim's father to tell him about Sevgi's job, thus prevents her marriage with Selim. Selim doesn't believe in all this. Vural shoots Selim out of jealousy, yet due to lack of evidence he gets released. Sevgi and Vural marry but she takes Selim's revenge in shooting Vural, having no reason to live anymore she shoots herself as well.
