Maji! 5: Deadly Struggle (1996)
Nagisa Gumi Gold Batch Shirogane Maji (Tamotsu Ishibashi) was imprisoned in Aomori for attempted murder at the end of a war with the Shuyukai. However, even in prison, the enemies targeting Honki never cease. After repeated attacks by remnants of the Shuyukai, Maji lost a young man, Issei, whom he had taken as his apprentice in the prison. When Honki is eventually released from prison, he is confronted by a new enemy, the TARUMA clan, which has its sights set on Nagisa's territory. The gang's leader, Daruma (Tetsu Watanabe), has taken up with the head of the Kaze and plans to eliminate Maji, a young but charismatic figure with a strong following.

Maji! 4: The Struggle (1995)
Nagisa Gumi Gold Batch Shirogane Maji (Tamotsu Ishibashi) has returned to his hometown of Nagisa after a successful stint in the Kazengumi. Just then, Maji receives word that his long-time enemies, the Shuyukai, are to leave the Kazagumi affiliate. The Nagisa territory, which is located in the neighbourhood next to the Shuyukai, is in a state of crisis. Maji's achievements in Kazagumi training earned him a big role as assistant to the Nagisa clan's young leader. However, the newly released Nagisa clan chairman, Isaburo Foragi, does not take kindly to this and interferes with Serious in any way... and the all-out war between the Shuyukai and the Nagisa clan begins!
