On October 31, 2015, the first short 7-hour and 20-minute trailer for the never-released film was filmed at Hovs Hallar in the south of Sweden. This is the same location Ingmar Bergman used for the iconic scene where Antonius Block challenges the grim reaper to a game of chess in the Seventh Seal from 1957.

In japanese porn, it is required by law that the male and female genitalia be blurred to obscure it from sight. The fogging of the sexually explicit area using pixelation or mosaic blurring is referred to as bokashi. In Unpixelated, a software is used on censored pornographic films in order to reconstruct the blurred area to its original state. Once the software is applied, a mosaic blur is then applied to the rest of the image leaving only the once censored pubic hair or genitalia to be viewed.

After the disastrous C.I.D.-contamination in 2104 large areas of planet earth are still uninhabitable and the sun is still beclouded. There are no national structures left. Security companies like Polyradah Corp own and run the big cities. To secure them, Polyradah Corp controls the inhabitants and the permission to live there. Non-conformable citizens of Polyradah are detected and persecuted by the silver skulls, the security troop of Polyradah's CEO David Corash. Polyradah is surrounded by suburban slums called Enyradah. Crime, chaos and fear rule that world. The officially contamination-free Enyradah borders on Trisoma, the contaminated zone, a place where no one ever came back.
