Hold My Hand (2016)
Live action adaptation of the play that actor Imai Masayuki conceived, authored, directed and starred in before succumbing to illness in 2015. The story questions the meaning of living through the lives of people with learning disabilities. Directed by Narahashi Yoko, who also directed Imai's most famous work The Winds of God. Masato (Kabira Jay), who has a mild learning disability, commits a crime to protect his wife Sakura (Nanami), who also has a learning disability. He's at a loss and heads on a journey to Ise Grand Shrine, where he was supposed to visit with Sakura, but along the way he meets Reiko (Sumire), who reminds him of his wife.
