Andrei is the head of a political party, a member of parliament and, at the same time, a prosperous businessman. He stopped being young a good number of years ago, but his love affair with the beautiful dancer Ana gives him the feeling of a second youth. On their way back from a mountain getaway, Andrei's car causes an accident, killing one man and injuring another.
