This modern variation on Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale "The Girl with the Matchsticks" begins Christmas in a home for the disabled. The four wheelchair users Aga, Ringo, the White Giant and Spasski are fed up with the same old boredom and decide to celebrate their own "party". They requisition the collected donations and set off to explore Munich at night. There, all doors are initially closed to the wheelchair gang, but then the friends meet an angel in the form of a lighter saleswoman who grants them three wishes. None of the runaways take them seriously until the first wish is actually fulfilled unexpectedly.

To save an old hotel in Tyrol from demolition, three lively girls and their friends come up with the idea of converting it into a disco. However, the conservative mayor forbids such an "immoral noise hall" in his town. With unusual ideas and the use of "feminine" arguments, the young people try to convince the mayor and police chief to allow such an establishment. A gang of rockers and two sheikhs with their harem, who are searching for new oil wells, also cause quite a stir in the sleepy little town.

The two buddies Peter and Freddie are on their way to Italy on vacation in their pink VW Beetle to pick up a few "bees and bunnies". At a petrol station on Lake Wörthersee, Peter meets his summer love from last year, the enchanting Billy, again and there is a new spark between the two. Much to Freddy's chagrin, the vacation plans are now moved from Italy to Lake Wörthersee without further ado.
