In a Brazil of colors and contradictions, Iara, a young descendant of indigenous peoples, lives in denial of her origins. Fear of prejudice and violence against indigenous peoples plunges her into a silent melancholy. While her sister Sofia tries to restore her pride in who she is, her encounter with Tainá, a young indigenous woman who carries the strength of her ancestors, awakens in Iara the beginnings of acceptance.
