Asuka Miyazaki miraculously returned from the mysterious, otherworldly “Kisaragi Station” three years ago. Yet, she still looks as if she’s from twenty years in the past, drawing suspicion and isolation. When she meets a determined documentary director, she resolves to save Haruna Tsutsumi—who once risked her life for her—and others still trapped there. The protagonist, Shippei Iida, moves with his mother to the remote island of Origoshima. He transfers to the island's only high school, Origoshima High School (nicknamed "Oriko"). However, shortly after his transfer, it's announced that Oriko will be merged with a regular mainland school. Naturally shy and with few friends, Shippei is touched by the warmth of the islanders and his fellow students. Wanting to create a final memory at the school, he proposes that all the students perform a choral song together.
