In August 2018 I was interviewed on my roof by Jussi Penttinen, a Finnish devotee who in recent times has been responsible for collating and uploading the subtitles that appear in many different languages on my Youtube channel. Jussi filmed his questions separately while he was standing on the Arunachala pradakshina road. During the talks he was accompanied by his friend Jukka Korhonen who filmed the replies and later edited the films. Thanks to both of them. Part 1: 'What am I doing wrong? David Godman has extensively written on the life, teachings and disciples of Ramana Maharshi, an Indian sage who lived and taught for more than fifty years at Arunachala, a sacred mountain in Tamil Nadu, India. He first visited the Tiruvannamalai ashram of Ramana Maharshi in 1976. And for 8 years, between 1978 and 1985, he was the librarian of the ashram. In the last 30 years he has written or edited 16 books on topics related to Sri Ramana, his teachings and his followers.

In February 2021 I was interviewed by Anthony Chene, a French film maker. He asked his questions via Zoom from France. My responses were filmed in my apartment in Perth, Australia. David Godman is a respected researcher and scholar of Sri Ramana Maharshi's life and teachings. He has written or edited 16 books and numerous articles about Sri Ramana, Sri Ramana's direct disciples, and related topics. His first book, Be As You Are, published in 1985, has become the standard anthology of Sri Ramana's writings. He has spent most of his life in Tiruvanammalai where Sri Ramana's ashram is.

This is a talk I gave outside my Tiruvannamalai home in February 2019. I look a little gaunt and thin because a few days before I had been discharged from hospital after having a total knee replacement. I apparently now look much better. The texts that I read from can be obtained from the Avadhuta Foundation in Boulder, CO, USA.
