Let's Rob the Bank (1964)
Shopkeeper Victor Garnier has naively invested his family's life savings in an African mine, on his banker's recommendation. When the mine is nationalized, rendering the stock worthless, he considers himself shamelessly robbed by the bank; it seems only fair to him to return the 'favor' and rob the bank, teaming up with the whole family as they were all duped. Even for professionals such an enterprise -he decides to dig a tunnel- is quite demanding, but for simple commoners it's daunting, as they also have their personal downsides; thus Victor's wife has a most unwelcome tendency to blurt out the truth, even to the grumpy local copper: a crazy risk when you need to keep a criminal plan secret.

Paris champagne (1964)
A young flower girl on the Quai aux Fleurs, disappointed by a missed rendezvous, takes to the banks of the Seine to savor her disappointment. Her neighbor, a tramp, transforms himself into a "handsome young man with a big car", who offers her consolation in the form of an escapist trip through Paris by night. This journey into the Paris of "champagne and love" is a rapid overview of all the most famous and undressed night-time spectacles. Sound and color are as mediocre as the selection of acts presented. The hobgoblin magician then takes the young girl to the land of country dreams. It's here that the ridiculous adds to the bad taste. From unclothed, ungainly naiads, we move on to a hunt in which the game is a shivering, unenviable nymph. In the end, the young girl returns to the reality of the flower quay and her repentant fiancé.

The Bamboo Stroke (1963)
Albert is the irremovable waiter in a small bistro that has just been sold by his former bosses, Angèle and Léon. Angèle, having forgotten the ten million paid by the notary in a cab, prefers to feign madness rather than incur her husband's wrath; but Léon, in turn, eventually learns what has happened to his money, goes mad and kicks out the honest cab driver who comes to return the lost sum. A phone call from the police station later informs Albert that the money is at his boss's disposal; but as the boss is now in an institution, Albert borrows his identity papers and goes to collect the money - which he pays in full to the pari-mutuel betting house. After a series of shocks and counter-shocks, Angèle and Léon regain their senses enough to watch for the outcome of the race, and share with Albert the final winnings, which are very substantial.
