The film tells the story of a love affair that tames a vagabond. Zehra Hanım is fed up with her son Necmi's vagrancy. Necmi is actually a successful composer. However, in recent years he has become a compulsive gambler. He has lost all his earnings and his father's inheritance at gambling. Now it is his mother's property that is at stake. Zehra Hanım seeks ways to reform her wayward son. Finally, she decides to marry Necmi to Hülya, who lives on a neighboring farm.
