During the winter of their second year in high school, Nobue Hayasaki and Tomoya Muraki were happily spending their days together. One night, Muraki encounters a middle-aged woman crying on the street and escorts her home, only for her to suddenly beg him, “I’ll pay you—please sleep with me.” Unable to refuse, Muraki becomes involved with her, but the experience leaves him traumatized, causing him to start skipping school.
