At an emerald wedding celebration, María Teresa and Oscar reunite their family, consisting of their three children: Diego, a frustrated, divorced man; Miranda, an intense woman married to a successful businessman; and Josefina, a struggling single mother. As financial and existential problems arise between the siblings, the family faces an even greater challenge when Josefina is diagnosed with brain cancer.
