After giving up on his career as a musician, Matsumoto spends his days as an editor of OPSY, a music magazine specializing in body modification counterculture such as implants, split tongues, and the like. One day, on the company president’s orders, he makes his way to a concert by a production company-promoted band, The PEACH BOYS. However, due to how awful it is, he despairs of his life as an editor, bemoaning “what a waste of time.” After the show, he is introduced to another band by the manager.
