Dušička has no idea how the white man got to him, who he might be, and he has no idea how to get rid of him. But the presence of the circus clown becomes not only a source of bizarrely comical situations, but also a catalyst for his relationships. Dušička recognizes the true face of the people who surround him. Because in a heated situation, everyone loses their masks. He begins to understand that his environment forces him to make compromises that are against him.

The rulers of the forest gave the strigóns Bendegúz and Sebela a magical stone that had the power to fulfill human wishes. The Strigôn made a bet whether people would abuse the power of the magic stone or use it for good deeds. Accompanied by the butler Vendelín and sister Júlia, the young count Henrich arrives at the estate, whose task is to improve the property and learn how to farm. Henrich, who has huge debts and a lot of negative character traits, has a different intention. He decides to cut down the forest. However, not only the inhabitants of the forest stand in his way, but also the miller Matúš and his sister, Countess Júlia.

The more he blames himself for his death, the more his relationship with his wife Zuzana and daughter Janka falls apart. And all the more persistently he tries to intervene in the investigation himself.
