Coşkun has been in love with the famous star Derya Altınay since his childhood. Fidan was all by herself on a long and winding road in the mountains, in the middle of nowhere, when Şemsi, the truck drives gives her a ride to Istanbul. When Şemsi learned that Fidan was a suicide bomber, brainwashed by a terrorist organization, he thinks that he is responsible for the people who will die in the suicide attack. By this aim, he has determined to take Fidan back to her home before the suicide attack takes place. He is ready for taking every type of risk in order to not feel guilty.

Adil Hoca, a retired elementary school teacher, has been assigned to his hometown. While waiting for his retirement, he receives a hard slap from a young police officer in the town, and his pride is severely hurt. Determined to ensure that justice is served by having the young police officer punished, Adil Hoca does not let the slap go. The film deals with the conflict between the intellectual and the villager through the characters of the uncle, his nephew, and Vedia. The uncle is an intellectual who has made it his principle to develop the villages. He continues to follow city customs wherever he goes. However, his methods often do not conform to the villagers' habits. His adopted daughter Vedia has also been raised like a city dweller. One day, his nephew from Istanbul comes to stay with them. Due to political reasons, he must hide in the village for a while. The nephew spends most of his time with Vedia. However, the events that unfold and the decisions Vedia makes will lead to significant changes in everyone's lives.
