Acústico MTV (1997)
Acústico MTV spans Gal Costa's career very thoroughly. What is very different here is the presentation of the material. Backed up by a lush orchestra (the Petrobrás Pró Música Orchestra), some of Gal's old hits have a beautiful new sound. Even some of her early songs, such as "Baby" and "Não Identificado," are more subdued. As a whole, the CD does show a more mature and secure performer. As added bonuses, Gal invites a few guests to sing with her. Having introduced Luiz Melodia to Brazil, Gal brings him back in "Pérola Negra," one great moment in the CD. Continuing the list of guests, Gal then introduces a new name in 1997: Zeca Baleiro. Their duet in "A Flor da Pele" is hauntingly beautiful and the most beautiful track in Acústico MTV. Targeting the younger MTV crowd, two names from Brazilian rock lend their voices in two additional duets.

MTV Ao Vivo (2005)
Some rock bands are able to live a long life. Os Paralamas de Sucesso (1981) and Barão Vermelho (1981) are among those rock monuments in Brazil. But as for Barão Vermelho, that maybe won't last for much longer… What we have is a good document and maybe even a historical document for this band. This could well be the last Barão Vermelho album… The band announced a break up after the tour that supports this MTV Ao Vivo cd set.

Uma Banda Made in Brazil (2017)
The Brazilian band Made In Brazil is featured in Guinness World Records as the group with the largest number of formations in the history of rock and roll. Also, no wonder, since the late 1960s, brothers Oswaldo and Celso Vecchioni have shared stages and studios with more than 200 groups of different musicians. This is their story, filled with rock and roll, some drugs and a lot of love for music.
