Based on a theater musical, this movie is set in the city of Lima, Peru during the end of the 80's. The plot is about a group of youngsters from Lima who are participating in a contest for the best new Peruvian rock band. All these while they have to deal with the worst economic situation in Peru, corrupt leaders and terrorism that is rampant throughout the country. Margarita tells the story of Rafo (Giovanni Ciccia) who is a divorced parent in his forties that lives the life of a twenty-year old bachelor. Until his adorable, determined and tween daughter, Margarita (Francisca Aronsson), knocks on his door to move in his house without notice. Rafo's life will take a chaotic and fun turn in which he will find himself and other people like Claudia (Melania Urbina), his neighbor.
