Josh stands a good chance against Buz, the favourite competitor at the local go-kart junior race. Buz and his friends decide to remove any competition by stealing Josh's go-kart. However, Alice the Chimp moves into action to stop them succeeding.

Judy, Josh and Joey, with Alice the Chimp, take part in a Wild Life Treasure Hunt and are picked to compete against four boys who put winning before everything.

Alice, trapped in a stolen hamper of pantomime costumes aboard the Isle of Wight Ferry, tries to attract the children's attention, but their attempts to rescue her are in vain.

The children visit a waxworks museum near closing time, whilst their grandmother does her shopping. Alice the chimp gets lost, and the children hide as attendants close the building for the night. Meanwhile, an attempt is being made to steal the day's takings.

Alice's attempts to reach the children by climbing down the chimney of their grandmother's house result in various people being stranded on the roof. Eventually the Fire Brigade is called.

'Alice's' attempts to help with house decorating result in disaster. She is banished to the tree-house but a violent storm drives her indoors, to the consternation of the children's mother.
