The Eccentrics (1974)
Ertaoz travels to the city with the intent to sell a chicken and pay off his father's debts. Upon arrival, he falls for the beautiful Margalita and decides to help her dispose of her ex-lover's body. However, at the cemetery, the lover–a policeman–unexpectedly regains consciousness and arrests Ertaoz and the chicken. Ertaoz is sentenced to ten years, while the bird receives seven. In prison, they meet an inventor who has built a flying machine that runs not on fuel but the power of love.

Melodies of the Vera Quarter (1973)
This musical is based on old Georgian vaudevilles and plays. The early 20th century. Old Tiflis is in confusion and turmoil. A mysterious fairy is helping the poor Pavle’s family: real wood is burning in his old, neglected fireplace, wherein a pot with meat would suddenly appear. The good fairy is impersonated by laundress Vardo who helps not only the poor Pavle, but other families in this quarter as well. Vardo is known to many people in the town, but no one ever suspected that she was capable of performing miracles. The film’s colorful folk melodies, merry songs and fiery dances leave no viewer indifferent. Starring in the leading role is the great Georgian actress Sofiko Chiaureli.

Goal (1979)
The ship which supplies Anton Denikin with money, weapons and secret documents gets to the attention of different party units in a Black Sea resort. The small Bolshevik armed unit fights there against the British authority. Its aim is to subvert the supply of weapons to the White Army. The Bolshevik armed unit penetrates the ship, disarms the captain, takes away the money and booby-traps the ship. In order to baffle pursuit the group decides to escape through the swamps. One member of the group turns out to be a traitor. He steals the money. The rest of the group drowns in the swamp.
